This year the holy month Ramadan is knocking at the door. In Muslim community Ramadan is the best month of all the months. This month all Muslim people fast throughout the month. They do it as an act of prayer so it's a holy month for them. In Ramadan it is specially to be thankful to Allah for everything what we have in our life. This month helps to purify our soul by praying of 30 days
Because of fasting for 30 days people feel little effects on health. After completing 30 days of continuous fasting people feel refreshment and energetic. In the classification of diet, you may heard the name of Intermittent fasting. Ramadan is a one kind of intermittent fasting. We can lose a lot of weight this month if we are a little bit aware about our eating habits. Today I will tell you about a diet plan that you can try in this Ramadan to lose weight. With this content you will find a way to lose weight very easily in this Ramadan. But all the time you should focus on your prayer. Because prayer is the most priority of this month.
If you follow some rules throughout the month, you can lose weight very easily.
First of all I would like to say some tips that you must follow to lose weight easily. Then I will tell you about the diet which may help you to lose weight in this 30 days.
Tips
1. Stop to intake white sugar strictly. No sugar will be allowed to lose weight. If you want to intake something sweets then you may add 1-1.5 tea spoon honey with your drinks or food.
2. Eat only home made food. Don't eat any outside food. Don't order food from restaurant. Only home made food is allowed because that is the healthiest way.
3.Have more fruits in Ramadan because it's easy to digest. And at the same time fruits provide you energy throughout the day. During fasting time energy is more important to survive. Fruits help to fulfil the lack of fiber. If you intake fiber based food , you may not face constipation type issues which maximum people face in Ramadan.
4. If you are a tea/ coffee lover, you can have only one cup of tea/coffee in the entire day. Don't drink too much coffee specially in the morning. If you feel craving for tea/coffee , you can drink smoothie as a substitute of tea/coffee. Try not to drink tea/coffee because it makes the body dehydrated. In Ramadan it's very important to be hydrated.
5. If you are sweet lover, you may make some healthy sweets in advance like banana bread, pea-flour (besan) laddu etc.
6. Avoid deep fried foods.
Lets get into the diet plan
there are two part's of the diet plan.
1. Eating before starting fasting (Sehri)
2.Eating after breaking fasting (Iftar)
No 1. Sehri
- One egg sandwich with one cup curd. Sandwich will be prepared by one boiled egg and two whole wheat bread. This sandwich and curd will help to be energetic throughout the day.
- One aloo paratha (potato bread) with one cup of curd.
- One glass fruit smoothie. Smoothie will be prepared by One cup of curd, any fruits of your choice, little bit of water. Or you can intake a full glass of green smoothie.
No 2. Iftar
There are two options for iftar.
- one glass of cold coffee
- one bowl of fruits
After 2 hours of taking ifter here is three options for you.
- 2 oats roti(bread) with one bowl of curry. It can be chicken curry, fish curry, any kinds of vegetable curry. But it must be cooked at your home.
- 1 cup of rice with curry and salad.
- one cheese sandwich. Cheese should be homemade. If you are not feeling full by 1 sandwich, you can eat 2 sandwich. The bread of sandwich must be whole wheat bread.
